Hey, i'm anna

a self proclaimed adventure mum born & raised in the scottish highlands.

i spent a lot of my childhood outside but i was never raised outdoorsy.  we didn't do much outdoorsy family things as far as i remember; we didn't hike, camp or go for many bike rides but if i'm honest, it didn't really phase me.  we didn't do it so i never knew what i was missing out on.  i spent a lot of time playing with my friends & that filled my cup enough.

however, i'm now in my late 20's & discovered a huge love for the outdoors in early 2019.  i'm on a mission to explore as much of my home country as possible through camping & hiking alongside my daughter (5), sometimes my husband, kieran, & our two pups, cooper & baker.

during the course of my pregnancy i got numerous comments from family stating that i'd have to stop hiking once my daughter was born due to it being 'not safe' or whatnot, but it only lit a flame in me.  how could something i love doing have to come to an end just because i'm now a mum?   surely it couldn't.  i wanted to prove them wrong.  so when she was 6 months old we set off for a weekend of hiking & camping & the rest is history.
